Keep the Home Fires Burning
Join us for our June show, a humorous, poignant and entertaining evening commemorating the centenary of World War 1. The show includes many numbers which might have been performed by the Happy Hoppers, the show company based at Talbot House in Belgium, a rest centre during World War I. Much of the material is based on Music Hall songs and ditties and provides an excellent opportunity to sing along and join in the fun! Lightheartedness is the name of the game. The soldiers are here to relax, to forget for a moment the horror of war and have a jolly rousing evening!
The evening performance will include a light supper and the Saturday matinee, tea and homemade cakes.
