Here’s where you’ll find all the information about the presentation evening and auditions for The Full Monty.
The presentation evening will take place at The Grove Resource Centre at 7.30pm on Thursday 2 November. If you haven’t joined us before, click here for directions.
Our fab director, Howard Bicknell and our equally wonderful musical director, Lizzie Hales will tell you all about the show and what you’ll need to do for the auditions. There’s no getting around the fact that the six main principal men, must be willing to perform a choreographed striptease on stage and go…..the Full Monty. However, no nakedness is required for auditions and everything will be done during the rehearsal process and show week to afford these brave gents the respect they deserve.
In order to audition for the show, you’ll need to be a paid up member of the society….you can click here to get full details….and during the rehearsal process, prior to the end of January, you will need to pay a show fee of £30.
You can click here to get character descriptions and details of the audition pieces but it’s well worth coming along to the presentation evening to get a feel for how the production team see things. You’ll also need to fill in an audition form and get this to our secretary, Pamela Depledge.
