We are delighted to be presenting Singin’ in the Rain, one of the most loved and celebrated musicals of all time as our October 2016 production.  Made famous by the 1952 film of the same name, starring the legendary Gene Kelly this amazing show is full of joyous songs, fantastic music and wonderful dance sequences, guaranteed to get your toes tapping and hands clapping. An unforgettable night of energised entertainment is guaranteed!

This feel-good, colourful and witty show portrays the turmoil that afflicted Hollywood in the late 1920s when movies went from silent to talkies as the sound revolution swept through. The plot focuses on romantic lead Don Lockwood and his leading lady, Lina Lamont, who’s less-than-dulcet vocal tones make her an unlikely candidate for the new talking pictures….the plot thickens! Don’s sidekick, Cosmo Brown and aspiring actress and love interest, Kathy Selden complete the quartet.

With fabulous songs, superb choreography and sumptuous set design (including thousands of gallons of real water!), Singin’ in the Rain showers you with everything you could wish for in an award-winning smash hit Hollywood musical.

We are pleased to be supporting the RNLI with this production.

We’re hoping to see lots of you at the read-through….do come along to find out more.

Details of all the audition pieces, including a summary, will be provided in due course so do come along and hear what Hamish and Bob have planned.
