Showstoppers: An Evening of Love
We invite you to be a part of An Evening of Love! The music is a mix of classic and modern songs, with something for everyone. Now, you may be wondering if this is a corny show, but set those thoughts aside because it’s absolutely not. There will be romance, fantasy, but also an honest feeling we all can relate to. The director, Lucy, has worked hard to design a show that is human, relatable, fun, but yes, also with depth and meaning.
This year’s Show Stoppers brings us a full spectrum of intimate relationships and the many stages we go through. It will include a variety of our favourite songs to show romantic love, the challenges we all face, the loss we experience, discovery of self-love, and the need for quality friendship. All stitched together with a generous amount of comedy.
We will have music from La La Land, Oklahoma, Into The Woods, Rent, Hamilton, Phantom of The Opera, The Greatest Showman, Evita and more. Come join us at the presentation evening on the 2nd of April, 2019.
Show Stoppers 2019 will be presented at the Haslemere Hall May 31 and Saturday 1 June 2019. Performances will be at 7.30pm each evening, with a matinee at 2.30pm on the Saturday. Tickets on sale soon!
