What a fantastic time we all had at the Queen’s Birthday Carnival & Procession on Saturday 23 April, 2016. Thanks to Sally Barr for organising us all and to Douglas McCleod for lending us Minty, his super cool VW camper van. We made our way with all the other floats through Weyhill, past the station, along Lower Street then in to the High Street, ending up in West Street being cheered all along with way. What a wonderful crowd! To top it all, we won third prize in the competition for the best float!! We couldn’t believe it. Thank you to everyone who took part and to Haslemere Festival for organising yet another wonderful event for the town.
