Vicki is delighted to be back as chairman for the next couple of years.  With a total of 18 years as both treasurer and chairman previously, Vicki is familiar with how everything runs whilst being mindful of the need for new ideas.

Chloe joined the society for our production of Annie in 2010 and has been seen in many productions including Disney’s Beauty & The Beast, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Legally Blonde.

Mike has been a member of the Players now for almost 12 years and during that time has been on the committee twice before, firstly heading up the social team and then supporting Vicki as deputy chairman. As Treasurer Mike gets the opportunity to play with spreadsheets in his spare time in addition to doing it at work….happy days!!

Alexandra chairs the Show Selection sub committee; researching shows for discussion and making recommendations. With a keen interest in theatre and a lifetime association with the Players, Alexandra is pleased to be on the committee to contribute to the discussion and help where she can.

Verity joined the Players in 2004 and has been hooked ever since, with her favourite shows including Barnham, Titanic and Evita. The environment in rehearsals, backstage and during performances is fun, friendly and exciting – Verity recommends it to everyone! Verity has been part of the committee for a couple of years and loves being part of the show-selection committee – it’s not as straight forward or simple as you might think, if you have any suggestions please let us know!

Mary-Lou is the custodian of our extensive wardrobe which is stored in the Studio. We are fortunate to have such a marvellous wardrobe which enables us to costume the majority of our own shows but also gives us the opportunity to hire our things out to other societies and to the public. Carolyn joined Players in 1996 and has played numerous leading ladies since then including Bianca Kiss Me Kate, Charity Sweet Charity, Adelaide Guys & Dolls, Babette Disney’s Beauty & The Beast and Edith Herbert My One & Only.  Carolyn is a graphic designer by profession and designs all our publicity materials.

Jane joined the society quite a long time ago and now finds herself happily enrolling new members for each show and maintainIng their membership subscriptions. Her role also includes looking after our wonderful Patrons and generally making sure everyone is happy and thoroughly enjoying themselves in our fabulous productions. Clare has been involved in theatre most of her life and loves everything about it, both on and off stage.  Having done many shows with Players and other local societies having spent some time out of the area she returned and rejoined Players for our production of Kipps – The New Half a Sixpence Musical in 2022.  Clare manages our marketing & publicity.

Jo joined Players for our 2016 production of Singing in the Rain and since then has taken on a variety of principal roles including her latest as the bubbly Chris in Calendar Girls the Musical.  Jo leads our Fundraising Sub-Committee.
